Daily Ajit is the world's largest selling Punjabi language newspaper. The newspaper is owned by Hamdard family who are Sainis. The newspaper was founded in 1942 in Urdu language when the late Sadhu Singh Hamdard became its first editor. Veteran journalist and ex-Rajya Sabha member, Dr. Barjinder Singh Hamdard, is the current Editor-in-Chief of this newspaper. Its Daily publishing newspaper.
